No. RapidChill is a heat exchanger. You still need to purify water first (boiling, filters, or other treatment). RapidChill’s job is to cool that hot, safe water down fast.

Does it need water pressure?

No pump is required. RapidChill works with gravity feed (barrels, elevated tanks) or standard garden hoses. More flow can speed cooling, but pressure isn’t required.

Can I use stored water?

Yes. As long as the water has been properly treated, RapidChill can cool stored or freshly boiled water for drinking, cooking, or medical use.

How fast does it chill?

Conditions matter (starting temperature, ambient temperature, flow rate), but RapidChill is designed to drop 5 gallons from boiling to safe drinking range in minutes, not hours.

Is maintenance difficult?
